Le dimanche 16 mai 2004, nous prenons la route pour Krefeld, en Allemagne, une exposition Spéciale Spaniels organisée par le Jagdspaniel-Klub.  Cela fait longtemps que nous n'avons pas participé à une exposition de la sorte en Allemagne, à cause de la loi interdisant la coupe des queues, et nous devons avouer que cela nous à beaucoup manqué ... 

Maintenant, plus de problèmes, nous avons pu sélectionner une nouvelle petite équipe de chiens à longue queue, et nous pouvons enfin revenir sur les rings d'expos allemands ... 

Nous sommes donc accompagnés de Marie, Thibaut et Xavier, les propriétaires de "Cassandra du Domaine d'Haïsha", ainsi que de Mélanie, une jeune stagiaire française passionnée de Cockers, de passage en Belgique à ce moment... 

Au niveau toutous, nous avons donc "Cassandra", sa soeur "Christyna", que nous avons gardée, et "Katia" ... Sans oublier nous Irish Water Spaniell "Lahja" ...  Cela sans compter sur l'équipe "locale", c'est-à-dire des chiens que nous avons cédés en Allemagne ou la descendance de l'un ou l'autre de nos mâles : "Anubis du Domaine d'Haïsha", appartenant à la Famille Brackmann, "Clara du Domaine d'Haïsha", appartenant à la Famille Jörke, "Cara's Bronze Beryll", fille de Xéryus à l'élevage "Abbadon's", et "Cara's Bethany", fille de Xéryus à l'élevage "Cara's".

Notre petite Cocker américaine Luçy (Forman's United Color) était elle aussi de la partie, mais en simple "spectateur" (elle a la queue coupée ...).

Même si la météo n'a pas été de la partie avant le milieu de l'après-midi (temps couvert et vent), nous avons été une fois de plus charmés par l'ambiance amicale régnant sur le terrain de l'exposition ...

Au niveau résultats :

Nos deux puppies Cassandra et Christyna ont eu toutes les deux "Très Prometteur", ce qui n'est pas si mal pour une première expo, sachant qu'il n'y a pas de classement dans la catégorie "Puppies" en Allemagne.

Katia a fait 4ème Excellent, dans une classe de 8 chiens, avec de très bonnes critiques.

Lahja a eu son premier CAC, et a été également "Meilleur de Race", cela n'a pas été très difficile car elle était toute seule, mais elle a eu d'excellentes critiques elle-aussi.

Cara's Bronze Beryll & Cara's Bethany ont eu toutes deux Excellent.

Clara du Domaine d'Haïsha 2ème Excellent en Classe Jeune.

Nous avions aussi inscrit, "pour le fun", un groupe d'élevage, avec Katia, Christyna et Cassandra.  Comme nous étions le seul groupe, nous avons fait "Meilleur Groupe de l'exposition", avec un fou rire général, car les chiens n'avaient pas du tout été entraînés pour ce type de prestation !

Et Anubis du Domaine d'Haïsha "Nina", nous a tous épatés en gagnant sa classe, puis en remportant le CAC du Club, la meilleure femelle, le meilleur de race, et enfin le Best In Show !!! 

Nous sommes évidemment très fiers d'elle et nous remercions ses propriétaires, la famille Brackmann, sa handler et toiletteuse, Mrs Richter, et les deux juges qui ont officié ce 16 mai, Mr Carlos Saevich, d'Argentine, et Mr Beyersdorf (Allemagne)...

Un tout grand merci aussi à Mr Jürgen Wallat, qui nous a invité à cette exposition quand nous nous sommes rencontrés à celle de Gand en février.  Nous ne manquerons pas de revenir dans la super ambiance de Krefeld !

On Sunday May 16th 2004, we left Belgium for Krefeld, in Germany, to go to a Special Spaniels Show organised by the Jagdspaniel-Klub.  We didn't go to such a show in Germany for a long time, because of the docking ban, but we have to admit that we were missing these show days, and were looking forward to going back to Germany ...

Now, no problems, we selected a small team of undocked dogs, and we are back on the German show rings.

We were there with Marie, Thibaut and Xavier, the owners of "Cassandra du Domaine d'Haïsha", and also Mélanie, a young lady from France, who is loving Cockers, and was with us in Belgium at that moment ! 

As dogs, we had with us "Cassandra", her sister "Christyna", that we kept for us, and "Katia" ... without forgetting our Irish Water Spaniel "Lahja" ... And we have also to count on our "local" team, who is composed by dogs we sold in Germany, or by some children of our males there : "Anubis du Domaine d'Haïsha", owned by the Brackmann Family, "Clara du Domaine d'Haïsha", owned by the Jörke Family, "Cara's Bronze Beryll", Xéryus daughter at "Abbadon's" kennel, "Cara's Bethany", Xeryus daughter at "Cara's" kennel.

Our little American Cocker "Lucy" (Forman's United Color) was also with us, but only as a visitor (her tail is docked).

Even if the meteo wasn't very kind before the middle of the afternoon (windy and grey sky), we have been once again charmed by the warm and friendly atmosphere in the show.

The results :

Our two puppies Cassandra and Christyna got "Very Promising", that isn't bad for a first show, knowing that there isn't classification in Puppy class in Germany.

Katia was 4th Excellent, in a class of 8 dogs, with very good critics.

Lahja got her first CAC, and was also "Best Of Breed", that wasn't very difficult because she was alone, but she also got excellent critics.

Cara's Bronze Beryll and Cara's Bethany got Excellent.

Clara du Domaine d'Haïsha was 2nd Excellent in Young Class.

We had also entered, "for the fun", Katia, Christyna and Cassandra in "breeding group".  As we were the only group, we won the "Best Group of the Show", with lot of laughs from everybody, because the dogs hadn't been trained for that kind of showing !

And Anubis du Domaine d'Haïsha ("Nina") impressed  all of us, by winning her class, and then the Club-CAC, Best bitch, Best Of Breed, and finally Best In Show !!!

We are obviously very proud of her, and we thank her owners, the Brackmann Family, her handler and groomer, Mrs Richter, and the two judges who worked on May 16th, Mr Carlos Saevich, from Argentina, and Mr Beyersdof (Germany)...

And a huge thank to Mr Jürgen Wallat, who invited us at that show when we meet him at Gent show in February.  We'll promise to come back in Krefeld marvellous atmosphere !
